Moody was aggressive with 34 points, making five two-pointers, three three-pointers and going 15-for-17 from the line. He looked like he was a step ahead of every player on the court and that he belonged in an NBA rotation. In their first game, Golden State was without James Wiseman and rookie Patrick Baldwin Jr., as both sat due to a coaches decision. On the other side for San Antonio, despite the loss, it got 20 points from rookie Blake Wesley and 15 points from its other first round draft pick Malakai Branhan.
